Getting Started & Managing Your Profile
Q. How do I get started?
Simply download the INTELpretation for Interpreters app and create your profile. If you received an invitation email because you are listed on a public court roster, our system will recognize your email and streamline your onboarding process.
Q. How do I manage my rates? The app only shows an hourly option.
Our platform's initial version uses a flexible hourly model with a two-hour minimum, which is preferred by a large segment of interpreters. However, based on valuable feedback from professionals like yourself, our development team is actively working on an advanced rate structure that will allow you to choose the model that works best for you, including options for half-day and full-day minimums.
Q. How do I indicate that I am available for both remote and on-site work?
Your profile allows you to set your preferences for both on-site and remote assignments. We are continuously working to make this interface more intuitive.
Assignments & Payments
Q. How do I accept a job?
When a potential job matching your profile is available, you will receive a notification. You can then view the full job details in the 'Potential Jobs' section of the app and click 'Accept' to confirm your availability.
Q. Can a client specifically request me?
Yes. Clients can request you by using your unique Member ID number, which is found at the top of your app's home screen.
Q. How do I submit an invoice?
After an assignment is complete, it will move to the 'Recently Completed Jobs' section. You can then initiate the invoicing process directly from the job details page within the app.
Q. When will I be paid?
Our standard payment term is Net-30. Our platform handles all payment logistics to ensure you are paid reliably and on time.
Q. What happens if I accept a job but then have to cancel?
To maintain the integrity of our network, canceling a confirmed job may negatively affect your rating. You can request a cancellation through the app, where you will be required to provide a reason. We understand emergencies happen, and all situations are reviewed in accordance with our Performance & Quality Policy.
