All interpreters in our network are expected to adhere to our strict Performance & Quality Policy. This includes arriving 15 minutes early for in-person jobs, logging in 10 minutes early for remote assignments, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

The Booking Process
Q. How do I book an interpreter?
Simply download the INTELpretation app, create an account, and navigate to the 'Book' page. The app will guide you through entering the specific details of your assignment.
Q. What information is essential for a request?
To ensure the best match, please provide the language/dialect, date, start time, location (for in-person) or jurisdiction (for remote), the type of legal proceeding, and any specific certification requirements (e.g., state or federal court-certified).
Q. How quickly are interpreters assigned?
Once submitted, our system instantly begins matching your request with qualified interpreters. While assignment time depends on factors like language rarity and location, our goal is to confirm your booking within a few hours at most, and often much sooner. You will be notified via the app and email as soon as an interpreter is assigned.
Q. Can I request a specific interpreter I've used before?
Yes. If you have an interpreter's unique Member ID, you can enter it into the request form to request them specifically for a new assignment.
Managing Your Assignment
Q. For remote jobs, who provides the video conferencing link?
The client is responsible for providing the video conference link (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) prior to the start time. You can easily add this link to the job details within the app, which will then be securely shared with the assigned interpreter.
Q. Can I edit the details of a job after I've submitted it?
Yes, you can edit job details after submission. However, please be aware that significant changes (like date or time) may require a new search if the originally assigned interpreter is no longer available.
Q. What if my proceeding runs longer than scheduled?
If an assignment exceeds its scheduled duration, you will be billed for the additional time. Overtime is calculated at a rate of 25% above the standard hourly rate, billed in increments as specified in your service agreement.
Q. How do I cancel a job?
You can cancel a job by navigating to the 'Jobs' page in the app, selecting the relevant assignment, and following the cancellation prompts. Please refer to your service agreement for details on the cancellation policy.

Q. What should I do if I have an issue with an interpreter during a proceeding?
Our platform includes a "Request a New Interpreter" button for live remote assignments. This feature, part of our Service Guarantee, immediately alerts our live support team who will join your session to assist. For any other issues, you can contact support by phone or email.
Q. How do I provide feedback on an interpreter?
After an assignment is complete, you can provide a rating and detailed feedback through the 'Jobs' page in the app. This feedback is essential for maintaining the quality of our network.
